Aurobindo Pharma Strengthens EU Play with Strategic Biosimilars Distribution Tie-Up

In a strategic move to expand its footprint in the high-growth biosimilars segment,

AUROPHARMA
's subsidiary CuraTeQ has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with STADA for European markets, covering multiple countries and strengthening its commercialization capabilities across the EU; under this pact, STADA will handle marketing and distribution, leveraging its strong regional presence, while CuraTeQ focuses on manufacturing and supply, aligning with its broader strategy of building a scalable biosimilars portfolio, which already includes a pipeline of around 14 products targeting key therapeutic areas like oncology and immunology, with several assets in advanced stages of development and regulatory filings, indicating a long-term push toward capturing a share of the global biosimilars opportunity especially in Europe, where over 150 biosimilars have already been approved, reflecting a mature and rapidly expanding market thereby positioning Aurobindo Pharma to enhance revenue visibility, improve global reach, and drive value creation through strategic partnerships rather than capital-intensive front-end expansion.
