BEL Secures ₹2,210 Cr Contract from Ministry of Defence

has won a ₹2,210 crore (excl. taxes) order to supply advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) suites for the Indian Air Force’s Mi-17V5 helicopters. Designed by DRDO’s CABS & CASDIC and manufactured by BEL, the EW suite includes: 🔸 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) 🔸 Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) 🔸 Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS) These systems aim to significantly boost the survivability of IAF helicopters in hostile environments. With this deal, BEL’s total order intake for FY25 has climbed to ₹2,803 crore, reinforcing its role in advancing India’s indigenous defence capabilities.
