Hero MotoCorp Invests ₹525 Crore in Euler Motors to Enter EV Three-Wheeler Market

is making a strategic move into the electric three-wheeler market with an investment of ₹525 crore in Euler Motors Private Limited. The investment, approved by Hero’s Board, will be executed in multiple tranches through equity shares and Series D CCPS, giving Hero a 32.5% stake on a fully diluted basis. A portion may also involve acquiring shares from existing investors via a secondary sale. This expansion aligns with the growing EV market, where electric three-wheelers are expected to contribute 35% of total sales in the near future. Euler Motors, with a presence in 30 cities, focuses on designing, manufacturing, and servicing electric three-wheelers, recently launching its first electric commercial four-wheeler. Additionally, Hero's Board has approved the creation of a Section 8 company to drive CSR initiatives.
