Hyundai Expands EV Charging Ecosystem with 30,000+ Charging Points Across India

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has taken a significant step towards strengthening India's electric vehicle ecosystem by integrating more than 30,000 EV charging points into its myHyundai app, creating one of the country's largest unified charging networks. Built through partnerships with multiple charge point operators, the network provides charging access within an average 25 km radius across India, covering key cities and major highways from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Alongside this, HMIL plans to expand its own DC fast-charging network from the current 183 stations across 105 cities to 600 stations by 2030, with charging capacities ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW. The platform is open to EV owners of all brands and allows users to locate charging stations, reserve charging slots, navigate to locations and make digital payments through a single app. More than 3 lakh EV users have already used the platform, consuming over 50 lakh kWh of energy between January 2023 and June 2026, which the company estimates has helped reduce approximately 3.5 million kg of CO₂ emissions.
