Mazagon Dock Partners with Goa for AI-Powered Disaster Management
MAZDOCK
has signed an MoU with the State Disaster Management Authority, Goa, to develop an AI-based Wireless Disaster Detection, Rescue & Communication System. Announced on March 21, 2025, this initiative aims to enhance disaster preparedness through AI-driven detection and response mechanisms.
Further details on the implementation timeline and system features will be shared in the coming months. Meanwhile, Garden Reach Shipbuilders, a peer of MDL, signed an MoU with PWD Nagaland for the supply of eight sets of Double Lane Modular Steel bridges, further strengthening infrastructure in the region.
Technically, MAZDOCK has shown strong momentum, breaking past key resistance around 2500 and testing 2674, near its recent high of 2891.70. The daily chart indicates a bullish structure, with price trading above the 100-day, 70-day, and 9-day EMAs, confirming trend strength.
However, the rejection from 2674 suggests profit booking, and RSI near 70 signals overbought conditions, increasing the probability of a pullback. On the hourly chart, price remains above key moving averages, maintaining bullish bias, but immediate support lies at 2383–2334. A sustained move above 2674 can drive a rally toward 2891, while failure to hold 2500 may trigger a retest of 2330–2120 levels.
