NBCC Strengthens Ladakh Infrastructure Portfolio with ₹234.78 Cr
NBCC (India) Ltd has secured a ₹234.78 crore order from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for comprehensive project management consultancy services related to the construction and redevelopment of infrastructure at 28 Border Out Posts (BOPs) in Ladakh. The domestic order, awarded in the ordinary course of business, adds to NBCC’s project pipeline in strategic infrastructure development, with no promoter or related-party interest involved in the transaction. From a financial perspective, NBCC reported a 17.2% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹154.8 crore in Q1 FY27, while revenue from operations declined 6% to ₹2,259.5 crore. Despite the revenue decline, operating performance improved, with EBITDA rising 39% to ₹155 crore from ₹111.5 crore, resulting in an EBITDA margin expansion to 6.86% from 4.66% a year earlier. The Navratna PSU also announced its first interim dividend for FY27 of ₹0.15 per share, with August 17 fixed as the record date. NBCC shares were trading 0.3% higher at ₹92.47 at 12:21 PM on August 13. Overall, the new Ladakh order provides additional order-book visibility, while the improvement in profitability and operating margins indicates stronger execution performance; however, the decline in revenue remains a factor to monitor. $NBCC Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
