RVNL Secures ₹165.54 Crore Rail Bridge Project in Uttar Pradesh
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (
RVNL
) has won a ₹165.54 crore contract to construct the substructure for Bridge No. 50, a major 14-span (61 metres each) bridge over the Gandak River between Paniyahwa and Valmikinagar Road in the Lucknow Division of the North Eastern Railway. The scope includes building a double-line “D-shaped” well foundation designed for a 25-tonne axle load, making it suitable for future high-capacity rail movement.
The project comes with a completion timeline of 24 months and positions RVNL as the lowest bidder (L1), reinforcing its execution strength in complex rail infrastructure. This order adds to RVNL’s growing project pipeline and highlights the continued government focus on strengthening regional rail connectivity.
