Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) has secured two Letters of Award (LoAs) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of two ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp, marking another significant addition to its renewable energy portfolio. The projects include one 400 MWac / 530 MWp solar plant and another 400 MWac / 552 MWp plant, both awarded by one of India's leading renewable energy companies. The projects are domestic in nature and are scheduled for completion during FY2027-28, reinforcing the company's execution pipeline in the fast-growing solar sector. On the financial front, WRTL reported a 34% year-on-year increase in net profit for the June quarter, supported by strong operational performance. Revenue from operations grew 53% year-on-year to ₹924 crore, while EBITDA increased 48% to ₹173 crore. The EBITDA margin stood at 18.8%, compared with 19.5% in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting healthy profitability despite a marginal decline in margin. In the stock market, the shares closed 0.63% lower in the latest trading session and are down 3.15% year-to-date. Overall, the latest order wins further strengthen Waaree Renewable Technologies' order book and highlight the continued momentum in India's expanding renewable energy infrastructure. $WAAREERTL Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
