HFCL Shares Jump Over 260% in 6 Months on Strong Orders

HFCL
shares have surged over 260% in the last six months, supported by strong financial performance, a sharply higher order book and major project wins. The stock jumped 5% to ₹255 on September 8, hitting its upper circuit for the third consecutive session. The company’s FY26 performance has strengthened investor confidence, with total income rising 21.6% to ₹5,014.52 crore and profit after tax increasing 90.1% to ₹329.44 crore. HFCL’s order book also grew 113% year-on-year to ₹21,206 crore, providing stronger revenue visibility. Recent large orders include a ₹2,329 crore optical fibre cable supply agreement and a ₹2,666 crore BharatNet Phase-3 contract from RVNL. The rally has also been supported by improving margins and expansion across telecom, defence and digital infrastructure. However, after such a sharp rise, technical analysts have highlighted the possibility of consolidation or profit booking. Investors are therefore watching key support and resistance levels along with further order inflows and execution to assess whether the momentum can sustain.
