shares rose over 4% on Monday, extending their recent rally, with the stock gaining more than 20% in the last one month. The latest rise was driven by renewed investor interest following the company's new brand identity, improving subscriber trends and progress on its financial and network investment plans.
The company unveiled a refreshed brand identity on September 1, replacing its earlier visual identity with a new 3D sphere design. It also announced Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan as the face of its upcoming campaign, “Vi badal raha hai... tayaar rahiye.” The company said the new campaign forms part of a broader transformation, with strategic launches, new campaigns and customer experiences planned in the coming weeks.
Beyond the branding exercise, investors are also tracking signs of improvement in Vodafone Idea's operating performance. The company has seen subscriber additions return, with TRAI data showing 2.44 lakh net mobile subscriber additions in July, the highest monthly addition in more than a year. This follows the government's relief on the company's adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues, which has provided greater visibility on its financial obligations.
Vodafone Idea has also been working on funding and network expansion after the AGR relief. The company has been engaging with an SBI-led consortium for debt funding, while management has outlined significant network investment plans. The company has described FY27 as a “period of execution”, with a focus on network investments, improving competitiveness, subscriber additions and ARPU.#SectorBreakouts#WatchOutFor
