Bajaj Auto announced impressive results for April 2026, with overall sales increasing by 40% compared to the previous year, reaching 5,13,792 units, up from 3,65,810 units in April 2025. The expansion was fueled by strong demand in both local and international markets. Domestic sales rose by 13% to 2,48,210 units, compared to 2,20,615 units during the same month last year. Export performance continued to be a major growth factor, increasing by 83% to 2,65,582 units from 1,45,195 units last year, demonstrating enhanced demand in international markets.
In terms of segments, the company's two-wheeler division maintained its lead in total volumes, bolstered by consistent domestic demand and a significant increase in exports. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 11% to 2,10,063 units, while exports surged by 78% to 2,29,890 units. The commercial vehicle sector experienced robust growth, with total sales rising by 54% to 73,839 units from 47,873 units in April 2025. The data emphasises Bajaj Auto’s growth strategy driven by exports, along with consistent domestic demand. The notable increase in exports, combined with steady performance across different segments, highlights the company’s strength and its capability to take advantage of the enhanced global market conditions
