India Named Gulfood 2027 Official Partner Country

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gulfood organizer Informa Markets Dubai to strengthen India’s participation at Gulfood 2027. Signed at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal, the agreement confirms India's return as the Official Partner Country for Gulfood 2027—marking its second consecutive year in this role following the momentum generated at Gulfood 2026. Scheduled for March 15–19, 2027, in the UAE, the event offers a high-visibility platform to expand Indian food exports across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Middle East, and African markets while deepening bilateral trade linkages under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). At Gulfood 2027, India will showcase a unified national platform highlighting premium, branded, innovative, and value-added agricultural and processed food products. The delegation will bring together exporters, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), startups, commodity boards, and government institutions. Designed to foster international trade partnerships through curated business-to-business (B2B) meetings, product showcases, and conferences, the initiative places a deliberate focus on inclusive participation—actively supporting MSMEs, FPOs, startups, and women- as well as SC/ST-led exporters.
