L&T Bags ₹15,000+ Cr Middle East Offshore Order
Larsen & Toubro Limited’s (L&T) Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore vertical has secured a major "ultra-mega" contract valued at over ₹15,000 crore (US$ 1.57 billion) from a Middle East client. The engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) order covers the comprehensive development of multiple offshore facilities, including fixed platforms and subsea infrastructure. A significant portion of the fabrication work will be executed across L&T’s integrated manufacturing yards, maximizing domestic facility utilization while catering to expanding regional energy demand in the Middle East.
This landmark win significantly reinforces L&T’s international footprint in global energy infrastructure and highlights its end-to-end project execution capabilities for complex offshore assignments. Leveraging extensive experience across subsea pipelines, deep-water structures, and brownfield modifications, the conglomerate is well-positioned to drive high-value, large-scale engineering operations. Ultimately, the project underscores the expanding opportunities for Indian engineering and construction giants in executing critical energy infrastructure projects on a global scale.
