Minister of State for Law and Justice Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal stated at an Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA) symposium in Singapore that India and Singapore have the potential to become global leaders in fair, transparent, and effective dispute resolution. Emphasizing the changes in India’s arbitration legislation and the formation of the India International Arbitration Centre, Meghwal pointed out that these measures are contributing to a quicker, more reliable system for resolving disputes, enhancing contract enforcement, and increasing investor trust. The symposium, titled 'Connecting Markets, Settling Disputes through ADR in the India-Singapore Corridor', gathered approximately 150 attendees to discuss legal and economic collaboration. The ICA highlighted that cooperation in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) will benefit both nations and strengthen Asia's role in the global legal arena
