Odisha Signs 10 MoUs to Overhaul Healthcare Infrastructure and Services

To strengthen public healthcare, the Government of Odisha has signed 10 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with key institutions to upgrade trauma care, medical education, diagnostics, and infrastructure. Key initiatives include partnering with the All India Institute of Ayurveda to integrate traditional AYUSH practices into trauma care, collaborating with the Adani Group to build rest houses for patients' families, and modernizing district and sub-divisional laboratories. According to Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, these strategic partnerships align with state and national leadership goals to create a modern, inclusive healthcare ecosystem. By boosting institutional capacity, expanding training, and improving diagnostic access, the state aims to significantly enhance patient outcomes and deliver higher-quality healthcare services statewide.
