On July 18, India and Zambia entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperatives and fostering trade partnerships between the two countries. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Mr. Amit Shah, reported to the Lok Sabha that the Ministry of Cooperation is enhancing India's cooperative export framework via Indian missions overseas. The ministry is leveraging Indian missions to supply market data to the National Cooperative Exports Ltd (NCEL) and link it with importers in designated nations. These initiatives are components of a larger plan to enhance cooperative exports. Alongside the agreement with Zambia, NCEL has also entered into MoUs with organizations located in Senegal and Indonesia, namely Sinton Vantage Trading and PT Sinton Surini Nusantara, respectively
