Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) revealed plans to boost its investment in Gujarat, India, to nearly Rs. 7 lakh crore US$84.33 billion) In the next five years, indicating a considerable increase in its pledges towards clean energy and artificial intelligence (AI). Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani announced at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra areas, emphasising the importance of the investment in promoting India’s green energy shift and digital skills. The enhanced plan signifies almost a twofold increase in Reliance’s previous pledges in the state and strengthens Gujarat’s role as a major centre for advanced industrial and digital infrastructure.
An AI-ready data centre will be constructed in Jamnagar as a component of the nation's investment initiative.
