Reliance Industries, under Mukesh Ambani's leadership, will put money into a 1 GW Artificial Intelligence (AI) data center in Andhra Pradesh, establishing a parallel facility to its gigawatt-scale AI data center in Jamnagar. Revealed during the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, the initiative will feature advanced Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), and AI chips, establishing one of Asia’s most robust AI infrastructure networks. Reliance is dedicated to a 6 GWp solar power initiative to provide clean energy for the future AI infrastructure. The firm emphasized its ongoing dedication to the state, in which it has already invested over Rs. 2,21,775 crore (US$ 25 billion) in oil and gas, digital services, and retail sectors. Reliance will also establish a greenfield integrated food park in Kurnool on 170 acres provided by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and create integrated compressed biogas hubs to enhance natural farming and rural economies. Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, stated that the investments correspond with the state's goal to transform into an international center for AI, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing. Mr. P. M. S.
