Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Limited has formed a strategic alliance with CEA, a French public research organisation, to collaboratively create Physical Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that merge robotics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent systems. These solutions aim to help machines sense, understand, and engage with the physical environment, promoting digital transformation throughout industrial operations. The partnership will concentrate on the creation, development, and implementation of Physical AI-driven systems for practical uses in manufacturing, logistics, and automation aimed at improving efficiency and robustness across industries. The collaboration combines CEA’s expertise in scientific research and digital innovation with TCS’s industry insights and global presence. It will provide tangible solutions, demonstration projects, and training initiatives to help robots learn and perform tasks in changing environments. Mr Rammohan Gourneni, MD of TCS France, stated that this partnership strengthens the company’s commitment to industrial transformation through innovation. Mr. Alexandre Bounouh, Director of CEA-List Institute, highlighted that the collaboration will enhance production processes and bolster the competitiveness of companies in France and Europe. The initiative utilises TCS Pace Port Paris, its research and innovation centre, to speed up the creation of next-generation solutions, strengthening TCS’s long-term commitment to the AI economy in France, where it has aided significant firms, including 18 CAC40 companies, via four delivery centers set up in recent years.
