Tata Motors outlines a US$ 100 billion automotive goal, pledges US$ 4.19 billion to its operations in India.

Tata Motors has delineated an ambitious expansion plan to establish a Rs. A 9,52,100 crore (US$ 100 billion) automotive sector expected in the next five years, backed by substantial investments in both domestic and international operations. During the Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Annual General Meeting, Chairman Mr. N. Chandrasekaran stated that the group's businesses in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) are projected to reach the milestone by FY31. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and JLR aim to achieve Rs. 5,71,260 crore (US$ 60 billion) in income, with JLR anticipated to add Rs. 4,28,445 crore–INR. 4,76,050 crore (US$ 45–50 billion) with the local passenger vehicle sector accounting for approximately Rs. 1,42,815 crore (US$ 15 billion). The firm anticipates that total earnings from its passenger car division and JLR will surpass Rs. 47,605 crore (US$ 5 billion), whereas the commercial vehicle sector targets revenue of Rs. 3,80,840 crore (US$ 40 billion) in earnings.
