UP Records ₹47,484 Crore Exports to BRICS & Partner Nations

Uttar Pradesh has significantly expanded its trade engagement with BRICS nations and partner countries, generating exports worth ₹47,484 crore ($5.03 billion). Out of this total, shipments to core BRICS member states accounted for ₹34,811 crore ($3.69 billion), while partner nations received goods valued at ₹12,673 crore ($1.34 billion). This milestone underscores the growing global footprint of the state’s diversified manufacturing and agricultural sectors, which span food processing, textiles, leather, electrical equipment, machinery, and jewelry. To build on this momentum, the state government is prioritizing industrial investment, better connectivity, simplified regulations, job creation, and export promotion to integrate both traditional artisan hubs and modern industrial units into international markets. Sustaining this export trajectory will rely on upgrading product quality, modern packaging, supply chain logistics, testing infrastructure, and global branding. These enhancements will particularly empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), export-led hubs, and local producers by connecting them to a broader international buyer base. Deeper engagement with BRICS and emerging economies allows Uttar Pradesh to diversify its trade relationships beyond conventional markets. By linking district-level manufacturing clusters with global value chains through robust logistics and quality testing facilities, the state aims to drive continuous investment, generate localized employment, and establish a permanent global presence for its goods.
