SBIN

State Bank of India remains India’s largest lender with a dominant market share across retail and corporate segments. Q1 FY26 results showed loan growth of 13% YoY and net profit of ₹16,500 crore, aided by lower provisions. Asset quality is strong with GNPA at 2.2%. SBI’s digital platform YONO is seeing record engagement, supporting customer acquisition. Trading at ~1.5x book value, valuations are attractive compared to private banks. SBI is well-placed to benefit from India’s credit growth cycle, making it a long-term value pick for investors.
