Reliance AGM 2025: From Jio IPO to India’s AI Revolution
Reliance Industries’ 48th AGM, held today, delivered a wave of transformative announcements across telecom, AI, energy, retail, and social development:
Reliance confirmed plans to list Jio in H1 2026, one of India’s largest IPOs. Analysts estimate a valuation close to $112 billion, with a potential $6 billion raise.
Jio has now amassed 500 million subscribers, cementing its position as India’s largest mobile network.
A new wholly-owned subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence, was launched to lead India’s AI infrastructure push—spanning data centers, robotics, enterprise solutions, and talent incubation.
Strategic tie-ups include a $100 million AI venture with Meta (Reliance owning 70%) and a collaboration with Google Cloud to build an AI-powered Jamnagar data region.
Jio AI Cloud — an intelligent, language-aware smart memory for seamless data retrieval.
JioPC — an AI-ready computing system that transforms any screen into a virtual computer, cloud-powered and secure.
Additional products like JioFrames smart glasses and Digital Twin tools were showcased.
CEO Mukesh Ambani reiterated his "Golden Decade" goal: to more than double Reliance’s EBITDA by 2027.
The New Energy business—focusing on renewables, green fuels, and chemicals—was presented as a future growth anchor, eventually equalling the scale of the Oil-to-Chemicals arm.
The board’s ambition spans future-ready tech, energy self-sufficiency, and social leadership—all signalling that the best of Reliance is still to come.
