has secured a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from DVC CIL Power Private Ltd (DVCCIL), a joint venture between Damodar Valley Corporation and Coal India Ltd, for the main plant package of the 2×800 MW Chandrapura thermal power plant in Jharkhand.

The order is classified by L&T as a Major order, with a value between ₹5,000 crore and ₹10,000 crore.
L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions will undertake the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of:
- Boilers
- Steam turbines
- Generators
- Electrostatic precipitators
- Associated mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation works
- Civil works
Order Subject to Environmental Clearances:
The current award is a Limited Notice to Proceed, with DVCCIL expected to issue the full Notice to Proceed after the project receives the required environmental clearances and the LNTP period is completed.
