In May, the Indian stock market performance was quite good. In May, the overall Indian stock market was 3.5% up. This sector was 22% up in the month of May. The entire sector was 22% up. And the top performing stocks were Apollo Microsystems, 60% up; GRSC, 56% up; Zen Technologies, 51% up. In the month of May, the worst sector was Nifty FMCG. This sector was 2% down, whereas the overall Indian stock market was 3.5% up. Its worst performing stocks were Varun Beverages, 8.8% down; Jyoti Labs, 7% down. The worst sectors were Nifty Pharma and Healthcare, 1.5% down.
