Oil and Gold Don’t React as Expected
So everyone was thinking that due to the Iran-Israel conflict, the market will go down, oil prices will go up, gold prices will go up. Oil prices were also predicted to go up to 90-95 dollars in the coming week. But it's exactly the opposite today. Oil opened up 5% this morning, but right now it's trading 2% negative. Gold is also trading half a percent negative. Equities are not in red, not flat, but in green and that too 1% positive. So what can we say about this? The smart money was already prizing that there could be some peace deal in the coming time. And maybe Iran has just announced that they are ready to give up its uranium holding to avoid its conflict. But what do we have to learn from this now? That the markets are markets. We have to always stay with the trend in the markets, never go against the market, just go with the flow. If the market is showing a positive trend, like the market opened up this morning, US futures opened up, gift nifty opened up, but they didn't give a negative reaction. So we don't have to guess anything from ourselves and play it as a negative, because the market has not yet given a sign of it, while there was a very big war on the weekend and it is still going on. But we should always stay with the market, just go with the flow of the market.
