Net sales (including other operating income) of Bharti Airtel has increased 27.33% to Rs 47876.2 crore. Sales of Mobile Services India segment has gone up 20.63% to Rs 26,616.80 crore (accounting for 49.73% of total sales). Sales of Mobile Service Africa segment has gone up 22.41% to Rs 11,376.30 crore (accounting for 21.26% of total sales). Sales of Airtel Business segment has gone down 2.68% to Rs 5,315.50 crore (accounting for 9.93% of total sales). Sales of Homes Service segment has gone up 21.33% to Rs 1,596.10 crore (accounting for 2.98% of total sales). Sales of Digital TV Servies segment has gone down 0.64% to Rs 764.40 crore (accounting for 1.43% of total sales). Sales of Others segment has gone up 14.52% to Rs 89.10 crore (accounting for 0.17% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 1,480.20 crore to Rs 5,645.00 crore. Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 54.55% to Rs 16,096.20 crore. PBIT of Mobile Services India segment rose 63.02% to Rs 7,871.50 crore (accounting for 48.90% of total PBIT). PBIT of Mobile Service Africa segment rose 17.58% to Rs 3,389.60 crore (accounting for 21.06% of total PBIT). PBIT of Airtel Business segment rose 9.54% to Rs 1,665.40 crore (accounting for 10.35% of total PBIT). PBIT of Homes Service segment fell 0.80% to Rs 321.90 crore (accounting for 2.00% of total PBIT). PBIT of Digital TV Servies reported loss of Rs 0.20 crore compared to profit of Rs 63.50 crore. PBIT of Others segment rose 41.64% to Rs 53.40 crore (accounting for 0.33% of total PBIT). PBIT of segment rose 241.05% to Rs 2,794.60 crore (accounting for 17.36% of total PBIT).
