Kalpataru Projects wins ₹2,225 crore orders

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (NSE: KPIL) announced new orders worth approximately ₹2,225 crore on 13 October 2026. The orders cover power transmission and distribution projects in India and international markets. Of the total, approximately ₹2,031 crore relates to projects in India and abroad, while its Swedish subsidiary received an order worth ₹194 crore. The company’s FY27 order inflows have now crossed ₹20,000 crore. Why it matters: A growing order pipeline can support future revenue visibility for an engineering and construction business. Power-grid expansion and renewable-energy integration may create demand for transmission infrastructure. My view: The order inflow is positive for business visibility, but order value alone does not establish future profitability. Execution timelines, project margins, working-capital requirements and cash collection will determine how much value these contracts create. What to watch next: Further order inflows, execution progress and the company’s next reported financial results. Stance: Order momentum is encouraging; execution quality and cash conversion remain important checks.
