Transformers and Rectifiers Q2 profit rises 118%
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (NSE: TARIL) reported consolidated net profit of ₹81.38 crore for Q2 FY27, up 118% year-on-year. Revenue rose 61% to ₹739.44 crore. Order inflows reached ₹1,169 crore, while the unexecuted order book stood at ₹7,237 crore.
The results show growth in both execution and new business. The order book provides revenue visibility for the coming 18 to 24 months, according to the reported update. However, order conversion, project timelines and working-capital requirements will determine how much of this growth translates into cash flow.
My view: Revenue growth is encouraging, but profit quality and cash conversion need equal attention. A growing order book does not automatically mean stronger free cash flow. The next results should clarify whether margins remain stable as execution expands.
I will watch quarterly order execution, operating margins and receivables for confirmation of sustainable growth.
Stance: Operational performance is improving. Further assessment depends on execution and cash-flow trends.
