share price today: Stock zooms 14% to hit 15-year high; why is PSU counter rising?

!Hindustan Copper Share Price: Hindustan Copper shares are in high demand today (December 29), witnessing a sharp rise in price action amid strong volumes. Hindustan Copper shares on Monday zoomed 14.79 per cent on NSE to hit a fresh all-time high and also a 15-year high of Rs 545.95 -- up Rs 70.35 from the previous close of Rs 475.45. Around 12:15 PM, Hindustan Copper shares were trading firmly in the green to quote 8 per cent higher at Rs 513 on NSE with 10.5 crore shares changing hands. On the BSE, Hindustan Copper shares were up 6 per cent at Rs 505.55 with spurt in volume by more than 4.53 times.
