Investor sentiment turned positive after the airline’s CEO, Pieter Elbers, reassured employees that operations are stabilising and that the worst phase of the crisis is now behind the carrier. “Through the storm, we are finding our wings again. The worst is behind us,” Elbers said, acknowledging that the past two weeks had been among the most challenging periods for the airline. According to BSE data, the aviation stock surged as much as 3.23 percent on Thursday, reaching an intraday high of Rs 5140.80 by 1:47 pm. Addressing IndiGo staff, the CEO urged employees to remain united and support one another.
