Adani Green Energy Ltd reported a robust performance for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 19.3 percent year-on-year to Rs 983 crore, driven by strong growth in both revenue and operating profit. The renewable energy company posted revenue of Rs 4,431 crore during the quarter, marking a 16.6 percent increase from Rs 3,800 crore recorded in the same period last year. The company's operating performance also strengthened significantly. EBITDA climbed 31 percent year-on-year to Rs 3,985 crore from Rs 3,042 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. As a result, the EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 90 percent, compared with 80 percent a year earlier. Despite the strong quarterly earnings, Adani Green Energy's shares came under selling pressure on Wednesday. The stock declined 3.05 percent to Rs 1,494.90 following the announcement of its first-quarter results.
