Tech Mahindra shares rose 0.77% to ₹1,510.30 on July 17, 2026, after investors took note of the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) record date. The ex-date for determining shareholder eligibility to participate in and vote at the upcoming AGM was set for July 17, meaning investors needed to hold the company's shares before the ex-date to qualify. Apart from the AGM-related development, Tech Mahindra reported a strong financial performance for the June quarter (Q1 FY27). The company's consolidated net profit increased 32.1% year-on-year to ₹1,490.6 crore, compared to ₹1,128.3 crore in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, profit also rose 9.9% from ₹1,356.5 crore reported in the March 2026 quarter. Consolidated revenue grew 17.7% year-on-year to ₹15,711.9 crore, reflecting healthy demand for the company's IT and digital transformation services. Basic earnings per share (EPS) also improved 28.4% to ₹16.53 during the quarter. For the financial year ended March 2026, Tech Mahindra reported annual revenue of ₹56,815 crore and a net profit of ₹4,807 crore. The company continued to maintain a strong financial position with a debt-free balance sheet, reflected in a debt-to-equity ratio of zero, while its Return on Equity (ROE) stood at 16.24%, highlighting efficient capital utilization and operational strength. With a market capitalization of around ₹1.48 lakh crore, Tech Mahindra remains one of India's leading IT services companies. Investors will now closely watch the upcoming AGM for management's outlook on business growth, future strategy, and shareholder-related announcements.
