Banknifty Lot size revised again-

On March 29, 2025, the NSE increased the lot sizes for Bank Nifty to 35 and Nifty Midcap Select to 140. In contrast, the lot sizes for Nifty 50, Nifty Financial Services, and Nifty Next 50 remained unchanged at 75, 65, and 25, respectively. Revised Lot Sizes Bank Nifty: Increased to 35 Nifty Midcap Select: Increased to 140 Unchanged Lot Sizes Nifty 50: Remains at 75 Nifty Financial Services: Remains at 65 Nifty Next 50: Remains at 25 Reason for Revision The changes align with SEBI guidelines aimed at maintaining market stability and efficient risk management. Effective Date for New Contracts- These changes will be effective for all new derivative contracts starting from April 25, 2025.
