Federal Bank - Outlook
Federal Bank CMP: 283.95
The most important observation on the price chart of Federal Bank is that the stock continues to maintain its broader uptrend structure, forming a pattern of higher highs and higher lows on the daily timeframe. After a strong rally from lower levels, the stock has recently witnessed profit booking and is now taking support near a crucial demand zone.
Technically, the stock is showing signs of reversal from the cluster of 50-day and 100-day moving averages, placed around the 278–275 zone, indicating this region is acting as a strong support base. Additionally, the price remains comfortably above the 200-day moving average, which suggests that the long-term trend remains positive.
The recent pullback appears healthy within the ongoing uptrend, as the stock is attempting to bounce from a higher low formation. The 275–270 zone should be considered as a major support area on the downside, and as long as the stock holds above this zone, bullish momentum is likely to remain intact.
Momentum indicators are also showing early recovery signals. RSI has rebounded from the 40–42 zone, which historically acts as a support region during bullish trends, indicating selling pressure may be fading. Meanwhile, MACD is near the zero line and can provide further confirmation if a bullish crossover emerges.
On the upside, immediate resistance is placed near 288–290, above which the stock can witness fresh momentum towards 298, followed by 305 levels.
Traders may look to buy on dips with a positive bias as long as the stock sustains above 275 on a closing basis.
