Hero MotoCorp – Technical Outlook

HEROMOTOCO
continues to trade in a broader corrective phase, but the recent price action suggests selling pressure is gradually easing. The stock has been moving inside a long-term falling channel for several months and is now trading close to the upper boundary of that trendline. A decisive breakout above this zone can improve the medium-term outlook, while failure may keep the stock range-bound. On the moving average front, the stock has reclaimed its short-term 10, 20 and 50-day averages, indicating improving momentum. However, it is still trading below the 100-day and 200-day moving averages, which means the long-term trend has not yet turned bullish. These higher averages are likely to act as important resistance levels. The RSI is hovering around the 50-52 mark, reflecting neutral momentum with a slight positive bias. This indicates that buyers are returning, but stronger momentum is still required for a sustained rally. Bollinger Bands have started to narrow, suggesting volatility has reduced and a larger directional move could emerge in the coming sessions. For the bulls, the immediate hurdle lies in the ₹5,000-5,050 zone. A sustained move above this level could open the door towards ₹5,150-5,250, where stronger resistance is expected. On the downside, ₹4,850-4,900 remains an important support area. Holding above this zone would keep the recovery structure intact, while a break below it could invite fresh selling pressure. Overall, Hero MotoCorp is showing early signs of stabilization after a prolonged correction, but confirmation of a trend reversal is still awaited. Investors may prefer to watch for a sustained breakout above key resistance levels rather than assuming the correction has ended. Until then, the stock appears to be in a gradual recovery phase with a neutral-to-positive bias. Above analysis is for educational purposes only. Investors should conduct their own research before making any investment decisions.
