Infosys Ltd – Fundamental & Technical View

Fundamentals (Recent Quarter) Infosys’ latest quarterly results indicate early signs of stabilization after a prolonged slowdown in global IT spending. Revenue growth remained muted YoY, but sequential performance improved, aided by deal ramp-ups and better execution. Operating margins stayed stable, supported by higher utilization, reduced subcontracting, and cost control measures. Large deal wins showed improvement, reflecting gradual recovery in client confidence, especially in digital transformation, cloud, and cost-efficiency programs. Management commentary remained cautiously optimistic, highlighting better deal visibility and margin protection, though a sharp demand revival is still awaited. Overall, fundamentals suggest bottoming-out dynamics with improving visibility. Technical Analysis (Daily Chart) Infosys is technically well placed: Price is trading above 50 SMA and 200 SMA, confirming a positive medium- to long-term trend. RSI is hovering above 60, indicating strong bullish momentum without overbought conditions. Fibonacci structure shows price holding above the 50% retracement (~1656), signaling strength. Higher low formation suggests trend continuation. Key Levels CMP: ₹1686 Immediate Support: ₹1650 Major Support / Stop Loss: ₹1570 Resistance: ₹1740 Upside Potential: Break above ₹1740 may lead to ₹1900 levels. View Bias remains positive above ₹1650. Accumulation on dips or a breakout above ₹1740 can be considered, with upside towards ₹1900 and risk protected below ₹1570.
