FII short positions have reduced sharply — from 92% at the start of the series to 74%, signaling short covering ahead of expiry. 2. Global Cues Wall Street ended at record highs overnight: Dow +0.7% | S&P 500 +1.2% | Nasdaq +1.8% Focus shifts to Big Tech earnings — Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, Apple & Amazon will report on Oct 29–30, setting the tone for global risk sentiment. Key upcoming triggers include: US FOMC policy outcome (Oct 29) — markets expect a rate cut. Reports hint at a potential US–China trade deal breakthrough. 3.
