Morning Market Insights | 29 July 2026

Market Outlook Nifty is expected to open on a positive note, supported by firm Asian cues and a rebound in GIFT Nifty ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve policy decision. While global semiconductor stocks remain under pressure, the weakness is likely to keep investor interest intact in Indian IT companies after recent earnings resilience. FIIs were net buyers in the previous session, which may also lend support to market sentiment. Technically, 23,800–23,850 remains the immediate support zone. As long as the index holds above this range, the broader undertone remains positive. On the upside, 24,100–24,150 is the immediate resistance zone, and a decisive move above this level could trigger fresh buying momentum towards higher levels. Bank Nifty Outlook Bank Nifty is expected to witness a flat to mildly positive opening after yesterday's range-bound consolidation and profit booking from higher levels. The index continues to trade within a consolidation band, indicating a wait-and-watch approach ahead of key global events. Immediate support is placed at 56,100–56,150, while 57,100–57,300 remains the first resistance zone. A sustained move above 57,300 may open the doors for a rally towards 57,800, whereas a break below 56,100 could invite fresh selling pressure. Stocks in News Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, Eicher Motors, Dabur India, Waaree Energies, Hexaware Technologies, Balkrishna Industries, Star Health and Bajaj Housing Finance will announce Q1 FY27 results today, making them key stocks to watch. Larsen & Toubro (L&T): In focus after reporting strong Q1 earnings while maintaining its FY27 revenue and margin guidance. Indian IT Stocks: Likely to remain strong as investors rotate into the sector despite continued weakness in global semiconductor stocks. Sugar Stocks: May see action after the government's new stockholding regulations for the sector. $LT $ASIANPAINT
