NAM-INDIA – Fundamental & Technical Outlook

NAM-INDIA
(NAM India) continues to maintain a positive long-term outlook, supported by strong growth in assets under management, improving profitability and a growing retail investor base. In Q1 FY27, the company reported record PAT of ₹504 crore, up 27% YoY, while revenue increased 26% YoY to ₹767 crore. Closing AUM also grew 16% YoY to ₹8.62 lakh crore, highlighting sustained traction in the AMC business. The company also crossed 4 crore investor folios as of June 2026, reflecting the increasing penetration of mutual funds and SIPs in India. This provides a strong structural growth opportunity for the asset-management business. From a technical perspective, NAM India is trading in an established uptrend and is currently taking support from a higher-low formation. The stock is trading above its 50, 100 and 200-day SMAs, indicating a strong underlying trend. RSI is around 58 and remains above its signal line, suggesting that momentum continues to favour the bulls. At the current market price of around ₹1,217, ₹1,235 is the immediate resistance. A sustained breakout above ₹1,235 could trigger the next leg of the uptrend towards ₹1,290 and ₹1,330. On the downside, ₹1,170–₹1,160 remains the key support zone. A decisive break below this zone could lead to profit booking, with ₹1,100 acting as the next major support. Overall, the combination of strong fundamentals, rising AUM and favourable technical structure keeps the outlook positive, subject to a sustained breakout above ₹1,235.
