SBI Life: Key Support Holds, But Trend Still Cautious
has witnessed a sharp recovery of around 3.5% in the latest session, bringing the stock back towards its 20-day EMA at ₹1,775. However, the broader technical structure remains cautious as the stock continues to trade below its 50-day EMA at ₹1,803, 100-day SMA at ₹1,823 and 200-day SMA at ₹1,909.
The stock has been making a series of lower highs after failing to sustain above the ₹1,900–2,000 zone. The recent decline has brought it close to the important ₹1,711 support, from where the latest rebound has emerged. This makes ₹1,711 a crucial level to watch in the near term.
Momentum indicators also suggest that the stock is yet to establish a convincing bullish reversal. RSI has slipped into the lower zone and currently stands around 36, while MACD remains below the signal line with a negative reading, indicating that bearish momentum is still present despite the latest bounce.
For the recovery to gain credibility, SBI Life needs to sustain above ₹1,775 and subsequently reclaim the ₹1,803–1,823 zone. A decisive breakout above this resistance cluster could improve the technical setup and open the way towards ₹1,900. On the downside, failure to hold ₹1,711 could trigger another leg of weakness.
Overall, the ₹1,711 support is providing a potential base, but confirmation of a trend reversal is still awaited above ₹1,803–1,823.
