Historic Milestone: Overtakes TCS New Status: Last week (Feb 12), SBI officially overtook TCS to become India’s 4th most valuable company by market capitalization. Valuation: The bank's market cap crossed ₹10.9 Lakh Crore, driven by the post-result rally. Current Rank: It now sits behind only Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, and Bharti Airtel. 2. Blockbuster Q3 FY26 Results (Quarter Ended Dec 31, 2025) SBI reported its highest-ever quarterly profit on February 7, 2026, beating street estimates on almost all fronts. Net Profit: ₹21,028 Crore (Standalone), a jump of 24.5% YoY. Net Interest Income (NII): ₹45,190 Crore, up 9% YoY. Asset Quality (Best in Class): Gross NPA: Dropped to 1.57% (a multi-year low). Net NPA: Improved to 0.39%, signaling a pristine balance sheet. Credit Growth: Domestic advances grew 15.4%, with strong traction in the SME and Retail segments.
