Recent Key Updates
In their latest fiscal year (FY25), revenue from operations rose substantially, and net profit rose notably relative to the prior year. Operating EBITDA increased, though margins saw some compression.
Sugar sales volumes are high; exports contribute a portion of sales. Sales realizations (net sales price per kg) have been improving.
Ethanol/distillery output is growing. The government’s push for fuel ethanol mixing supports this line, though there are headwinds from regulatory/price issues in certain ethanol segments (especially BH (B-heavy molasses) or juice based ethanol).
The cost side has seen pressures: rising inventory costs, finance costs, impact of variable cane yields, sugar content variations, and sometimes weak pricing or restrictions (exports, etc.) have squeezed margins.
The company declared dividends (final dividend etc.) recently, signifying decent cash flow / shareholder returns.
