📉 Stock and Market Performance

JIOFIN
💰 Financial Performance In Q1 FY26, Jio Finance reported a net profit of around ₹325 crore, growing roughly 4% year on year. Revenue increased nearly 47% compared to the previous year, showing strong business momentum. The company’s lending arm, Jio Credit Ltd., saw its Assets Under Management (AUM) surge to nearly ₹11,600 crore from just over ₹200 crore a year earlier. During FY25, overall AUM crossed ₹10,000 crore, highlighting the company’s strong expansion in financial services. However, profit growth has been modest due to higher operating expenses and ongoing investments in scaling up operations. 🔧 Key Developments Full ownership of Jio Payments Bank: Jio Finance acquired the remaining stake from State Bank of India, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. New digital lending products: The company launched a fully digital “Loan Against Securities” service, allowing customers to borrow against their share and mutual fund holdings. BlackRock partnership: Jio Finance partnered with BlackRock to create a joint venture for wealth and asset management, aiming to leverage technology and distribution strength for retail investors. Promoter support: Mukesh Ambani and the promoter group infused over ₹15,000 crore through convertible warrants, increasing their stake to above 54%. 📉 Stock and Market Performance The stock has shown mixed performance, moving with periods of volatility. While long-term prospects are strong, short-term investor sentiment remains cautious due to high valuations and modest profit growth. The company delayed some planned debt issuance owing to a high-yield environment, focusing instead on internal funding and capital efficiency.
