Q1 FY27 profit growth

$MOTILALOFS 1. Q1 FY27 profit growth MOFSL reported around 10% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit in the June 2026 quarter. Despite profit growth, the stock saw pressure after the results, with investors focusing on the quality and sustainability of earnings. 2. Asset Management business is the biggest positive Motilal Oswal Asset Management has crossed ₹2 lakh crore in AUM, marking a major milestone. Strong SIP additions and growth in mutual funds, PMS and AIFs are improving the company's recurring-fee income profile. 3. Strong SIP growth The AMC has continued adding SIP accounts at a strong pace. Increasing SIP participation provides greater visibility to future asset-management revenue. 4. Wealth Management remains a key growth engine MOFSL continues to expand its wealth-management franchise as India's HNI and affluent investor base grows. Growth in client assets can provide relatively stable fee income compared with transaction-based broking. 5. Broking business facing a tougher environment Changes in the derivatives market and lower F&O activity have created some pressure on the traditional broking business. Investors are therefore watching the company's ability to shift toward more stable, recurring businesses. 6. Diversification strategy progressing MOFSL continues to operate across: Wealth management Asset management Broking Investment banking Private equity Housing finance This diversified model reduces dependence on a single capital-market business. 7. Capital-market activity remains supportive Strong IPO activity, equity-market participation and rising financialization of savings continue to provide opportunities across MOFSL's businesses.
