🔹 Key Corporate Moves
VBL has formed a new joint venture White Peak Refrigeration Pvt Ltd together with Everest International. The JV will manufacture visi-coolers and refrigeration equipment in India.
They’re also investing in Jager Renewables Two Pvt Ltd to acquire up to 26% equity. This SPV will supply solar power to VBL’s facilities in Rajasthan.
VBL approved plans to acquire PepsiCo’s franchise rights in South and West India, which would help it consolidate a national footprint for Pepsi’s beverages (once approvals are in place).
⚙️ Operations & Expansion
A new production plant in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has started operations. This boosts capacity particularly in North India.
They are expanding juice and value-added dairy product capacities. Also enhancing chilling infrastructure and distribution in under-penetrated markets.
Strong focus on increasing volumes, both in India and internationally. Africa (e.g. via its BevCo subsidiary) remains a key geographic growth region.
⚙️ Operations & Expansion
In the June quarter FY26, VBL’s net profit rose by ~5% vs Q2 of the previous year. However, revenue from operations was down a bit (≈2-3%), partly due to unseasonal rains affecting peak summer sales.
Margins are being helped by operational efficiencies and lower finance costs.
