NCC
NCC Limited (NCC) won a ₹1,076.71 crore water supply contract in Andhra Pradesh. This comes on top of two other contracts worth ₹500.22 crore secured earlier in September.
NCC's September order wins total roughly ₹1,577 crore across three contracts. The water supply project is the largest single piece. No execution timeline has been disclosed yet in what's available.
NCC is a construction and infrastructure company. It regularly bids for government water, road, and building projects. This is the kind of order flow the company runs on, not a one-off.
Three separate orders in one month tells me more than any single one of them does. One large contract could be luck or timing. Three in a row points to NCC actively winning work in its core segments right now, not just this project.
What I actually want to see is NCC's total order book after these wins, and how that compares to its annual revenue. A ₹1,577 crore month means little without knowing what the base already looked like. I also want the execution period for the water project specifically. Government water contracts often run two to three years, so the revenue shows up slowly, not all at once.
My stance: strong order momentum this month, genuinely. But I'm holding off on a fuller view until the order book size and project timeline are both confirmed.
I do not hold NCC Limited at the time of writing.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#EquityResearch#HiddenGems
