CG POWER ENTERS DATA CENTER SEGMENT WITH NEW ORDER WIN OF Rs 900 CRORE

has forayed into the global data centre industry after securing a large-scale project in the US worth approximately Rs 900 crore from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions for the supply of power transformers. Under the contract, the company will supply power transformers which will be tailored to meet the requirements of a hyperscale data centre applications. In fact this order is the “largest single order” ever won by the group and a direct export order for it's power transformers. The company's stock price has given multibagger returns 1380% over the past 5 years, however it has seen a correction of more than 30% from it's all time high levels. With such large order wins, the company is expected to deliver strong results in the coming years.
