KEC WINS 177 KM TRANSMISSION LINE DEAL IN ETHIOPIA

Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) has signed an agreement with

for the construction of 177 km of transmission lines under the Eastern Ethiopia Grid Reinforcement Project (EEGRP). This marks the country's move to strengthen it's eastern electricity network. The contract covers the construction of 400 kV, 132 kV and 66 kV transmission lines and forms part of EEP’s Eastern Grid Expansion. This latest contract marks KEC International’s second consecutive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract in Ethiopia in the past six months, reinforcing it's expanding role in the country’s power infrastructure development.
