Tega Industries Q1 FY27: Molycop Joins, Legacy Grows 21%

TEGA
Tega Industries Limited reported Q1 FY27 results for the June 2026 quarter on 13 August; the print requires two lenses. Q1 FY27 numbers: Statutory consolidated: revenue Rs 1,723.4 crore vs Rs 356.1 crore YoY; net loss Rs 86.2 crore Adjusted group: PAT Rs 54.7 crore, up 26% YoY, stripping Rs 191 crore of Molycop transaction costs Molycop: one month only (closed 1 June); revenue Rs 1,283.4 crore, adjusted EBITDA Rs 162.8 crore, 109 KT volume, ahead of plan Legacy Tega ex Molycop: revenue Rs 431.8 crore, up 21%; margin 22.1% vs 19.1%; adjusted PAT Rs 44.4 crore, up 26% Order book Rs 1,231.3 crore, up 22%; consumables revenue up 36% Group debt: Rs 11,200 crore including Rs 2,600 crore of preference shares Tega Industries [
TEGA
][SHARE PRICE URL] shares closed near Rs 1,604 on 7 September 2026, down 24 percent from the Rs 2,125 high and 9 percent above the Rs 1,473 low. Market cap near Rs 12,000 crore. Trailing P/E is distorted by the statutory loss. My view: the legacy business proves the model; 21 percent organic growth, 300 bps margin expansion, 26 percent profit growth from an asset-light consumables franchise. Molycop changes the scale and the debt. At Rs 11,200 crore of group debt against Rs 12,000 crore of market cap, this is now a leveraged integration story, not the compounder it was. The case is Molycop's EBITDA de-levers the balance sheet to 1x by FY30 per management's target; one month ahead of plan is a start, not a proof. Fresh money waits for two to three quarters of EBITDA delivery and visible de-leveraging. Levels: Rs 1,473 the floor; Rs 1,700 to 1,750 the first reclaim; Rs 2,125 the high. Tega Industries Ltd – Support Zone Reversal Setup

TEGA
Tega Industries Ltd is showing signs of a recovery attempt after witnessing a sharp correction, with the stock currently holding near an important support zone. Price action around the lower levels indicates fresh buying interest, while short-term momentum is showing early signs of improvement. If the stock continues to sustain above the key support zone and gradually moves towards higher levels, further upside momentum may develop. 🔎 Technical View: • Key support is seen around ₹1,570 • Important support zone: ₹1,570–₹1,550 • Fresh buying interest is visible from lower levels • Momentum is showing signs of a potential recovery • A sustained move above ₹1,661 may trigger fresh upside momentum 🔑 Key Levels: Support Zone: ₹1,570–₹1,550 Immediate Resistance: ₹1,661 Major Resistance: ₹1,707 🚀 Potential Upside Levels: ₹1,750 | ₹1,837 | ₹1,925+ 📈 Price Action View: A sustained move above ₹1,661, preferably supported by strong price action and volume, could open the possibility of a move towards the ₹1,707 resistance zone. A decisive breakout and sustained trading above ₹1,707 may further strengthen the bullish momentum, with ₹1,750, ₹1,837 and ₹1,925+ emerging as important upside levels to monitor. 📉 Risk Management: A sustained breakdown below ₹1,550 could weaken the current recovery setup and may lead to further downside pressure. Therefore, traders and investors should closely monitor price action around the support and resistance zones. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This content is shared strictly for educational and informational purposes only. Current weekly candle shows strong momentum emerging from the higher-low region around ₹1,550–1,600. 2. Breakout Zone Immediate resistance: ₹2,125 This is the level that has rejected price multiple times. A weekly close above ₹2,125 with volume expansion would confirm a fresh breakout. 3. Measured Move Targets Using the height of the consolidation range: Breakout Level: ₹2,125 Base Support Area: ₹1,550 Range Height: ~₹575 Targets after breakout: Target 1: ₹2,300–2,350 Target 2: ₹2,700 Target 3: ₹3,000+ (if broader market remains supportive) 4.
